Antique Belgian bluestone flooring is capable of turning one's head toward the floor where rich blue black patinas intermingle with 17th century masonry - revealing the stone mason's hand work.  These floors emanate historic grounds where the ambiance of the room whispers stories in Dutch tongue of past lives lived.  Olde Stones of Oud-Rekem Antiqued Belgian Bluestone Flooring is the looking glass reflecting the soul of authentic antique Belgian bluestone.  This Belgian stone floor has that blue-black hue - saturated and rich - that radiates a satin patina.  The quality of this patina - mimicking that of true antique stone - is achieved by force and muscle of the stone mason's hand.  The contrast of this satin patina is played off beautifully by 17th century surface stone textures of Oud-Rekem.  Using historical stone masonry techniques from 17th century Belgium - one sees the craftsmanship of the vertical chiseled edging and the hand-hammered surface textures as the masons cut the tiles from the dense blocks of the quarried Belgian bluestone.  Dancing a ballet around this craftmanship are tens of thousand year old fossils that add an appearance of dentelle lace to the rhythm of the masonry work.  This is a floor that not only anchors a room - but also elevates it into a 17th century time-warp of historical proportions.  A limited production due to intense craftsmanship - these floors will not go unnoticed.
