The blue and white hand painted geometric tiles of the Cuisine de Monet Collection are inspired designs from 19th century decorative art tile from Rouen, France, made famous by Claude Monet's kitchen installation in Giverny, France. Emmi Micallef, co-founder of Historic Decorative Materials and Pavé Tile, Wood & Stone, Inc. hand painted this collection due to her love of French interior design and the classic blue and white glazed tile. These tiles are kiln-fired at the Pavé facility, followed by the hand-crackling of each tile to recreate an antique porcelain tea cup. Blue and white geometric patterns create interest on walls - but the Cuisine de Monet Collection evokes history that carries across trends to remain timeless.
