Salvaged from an old moulin in the Basse-Normandie Region of France, this amazing French reclaimed terra cotta square tile was the floor where grain was separated from chaff to be grinded into flour.  The colors of this French reclaimed terra cotta tile seemed to have taken on the hues of it's surrounding - from the wheat fields surrounding the moulin and the sunsets making the fields aglow to the red earth tones of the clay deposits underfoot and golden loaves of bread fresh from the oven.  This lot's surface texture is a beautiful mix of satin patina to a smooth sablé.  A magnificent floor of warm, earth tones and historic authenticity. 

Recommended Sealer after Installation:  Akemi Stone Impregnation for French Reclaimed Terra Cotta Tile Flooring 

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
