200-year old Italian reclaimed limestone flooring with first choice patina has been salvaged near Roma, Italy.  These are one-of-a kind floors where the first choice patina is richly authentic from the centuries of being walked upon. Our reclaimed Italian limestone tiles, originally 4" - 6" thick, are cut to 1" and will add history, authenticity and beauty to homes from historic and farmhouse styles to minimalist and industrial décor.  The hand chiseling and hand working of these pavers from centuries ago, are seen throughout the floor - something to be cherished from the Italian stone masons who's craft was to fabricate stone floors for their livelihood.

First choice patina means the stone's original 200-year old face - the prized surface patina that feels like the inside of an oyster shell and thus, walking barefoot upon these floors becomes a sensorial experience.

Thickness: We cut this reclaimed Italian limestone floor to 1" to make for lighter transport and easier installation.

Recommended Sealer after Installation:  Akemi Stain Repellent Nano Effect 

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
