Originally quarried in the 17th Century from the Languedoc region of France, these gorgeous French limestone tiles were installed in grand country homes and stately manors to provençal farmhouses.  Provence, known for a Vincent Van Gogh color palette marries beautifully in contrast to the quiet, soft neutral tones of this stunning French limestone floor that was highly appreciated throughout Provence.  Extremely rare to find and salvage, the reclaimed Antique Blonde Barr French limestone luckily has an historical twin in our Réedition Antique Blonde Barr French Limestone floor. 

This Provençal French limestone is a soft mix of taupe, cream and chestnut colors.  The texture is softly aged with antique hand chiseled edging.  The soft matte patina of this French limestone calls for bare feet to walk upon it graciously  Due to it's consistent size and thickness, the installation allows for a tight grout line, only adding to it's elegance.  It is a cult classic in the upscale interior design world for it's historical authenticity, neutral color palette and sheer beauty.
