This is a sister lot to PA239.  Similar in color with less moss hue and a slight difference in size.  It's a substantial lot perfect for an authentic French kitchen floor paired with a French oak floor in dining and living space.

Concarneau is a department of Brittany in northwestern France, along the Atlantic coast.  The city has two distinct areas - the modern town on the mainland and the medieval Ville Close, a walled town on an island in the center of the harbor.  Historically, the old town was a center of shipbuilding and it's ramparts date from the 14th century.  This is where we located a lovely square French reclaimed terra cotta tile lot - reflecting the colors of it's provenance.  The colors - a beautiful variation of shell, sand, blush, and gray - it has a worn patina, historically aged edging and it's consistent thickness will allow for an elegant tight grout line once installed.   This is a beautiful palette with French oak floors in color Vintage Oak from our Great House 18th Century French Oak Floors Collection.

Recommended Sealer after Installation:  Akemi Stone Impregnation for French Reclaimed Terra Cotta Tile Flooring

Cleaning and Maintenance:  This lot will need surface cleaning after installation. Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
