La Vallée du Rhône, it's southern sub-region, has a Mediterranean climate with milder winters and hot summers. It's most famous red wine, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is a blend of up to 19 varieties of wine grapes - ten red and nine white. It's under these conditions that we created La Vallée du Rhône Antiqued French Limestone Flooring. Drinking a glass of wine poolside while a chicken is spit-roasting in the outdoor kitchen is what we had in mind. This French limestone is an outdoor/indoor stone for these spaces where the aesthetic desired is one of historic elegance, as seen in manor homes throughout Provence. As a pool surround, a patio, a perfect anchor for an outdoor kitchen and a harmonizing floor for the indoor/outdoor living space - all is achieved gracefully with this French limestone. A soft, neutral color palette in colors of warm sand and creamy white, these hues casts a wide net for accomplished interior design. It's surface texture is a patina with substance - so no slipping from pool to cabana.
Exterior application for Mediterranean and non-freeze/thaw climates only.
