Our by-appointment showroom is located in the Pioneer Valley - 90 minutes west of Boston, 2 1/2 hours from NYC, 25 minutes from the Brimfield Antique Show and an hour from the Berkshires and Tanglewood. Showroom is the parent company of Historic Decorative Materials e-commerce site. Proprietor owned since 2000, from the South of France, François Micallef’s direct resources for the highest quality reclaimed and antiqued French, Belgian, Italian and English limestone, oak flooring, terra cotta tiles, antique French fireplace mantels, doors and decorative wall tiles, can be viewed at the Pavé Showroom.
This is a showroom where the installations and vignettes of these materials reveal their nuances, texture and patina - including the various edging details of the grout lines, variation in colors and how different aging techniques will create different surface texture and color of the same stone. As an experienced handmade tile and stone installer, as well as a former manufacturer of his own wood flooring collection, coming to Pavé will mean speaking with François and becoming informed on what is reclaimed and aged wood and stone flooring from Europe and best installation practices.
Traveling often to Europe to search for new materials and continuing cultivating his direct relationships with suppliers, means a knowing of receiving the highest quality reclaimed and antiqued materials from Europe. Expanding the Pavé Showroom to an additional space where installations are being completed with highly curated and unique antique and aged French limestone floors, Italian limestone flooring, Belgian bluestone flooring, antique cement tiles and black and white reclaimed marble checker flooring.
A private Pavé showroom appointment will mean viewing first hand beautiful installations and vignettes of all our materials, including antique and aged French limestone flooring, reclaimed Belgian blue stone floors, reclaimed and aged French oak flooring in engineered, solid, parquet de Versailles and chevron patterns as well as our new added stone and terra cotta tile showrooms showcasing antiqued classic English stone, French reclaimed terra cotta tiles and Zellige glazed tiles from Morocco.
