AKEMI Stone Impregnation is a penetrating sealer for outdoor French limestone, Belgian bluestone, reclaimed French terra cotta and other absorbent natural stone flooring. Designed to provide water- and dirt-repellent protection, it penetrates porous mineral surfaces while maintaining vapor permeability.
Suitable for natural and cast stone with polished, honed, ground or rough surfaces, AKEMI Stone Impregnation can be used on limestone, Belgian bluestone, marble, granite, terrazzo, unglazed ceramic tile, brick and other porous mineral surfaces.
The treatment penetrates into the surface rather than forming a heavy topical coating, helping protect natural stone and terra cotta against moisture and dirt while preserving the material's natural appearance and texture.
French limestone and Belgian bluestone are natural materials whose porosity varies according to the particular stone and finish. A penetrating impregnation treatment can help reduce water and dirt absorption while allowing the natural character, texture and tonal variation of the stone to remain visible.
