All hand-carved, this 18th century antique Belgian bluestone sink has an incredible historic presence. The patina seems to be melting into the stone. The hand-chiseled texture is a testament to the stone mason who carved this basin from a block of Belgian bluestone - perfection in it's rectangular form. The soft charcoal grays interplay with whites - which could be anything from crushed seashells to sediment formed thousands of years ago before it was quarried. An organic presence - it's a sculptural aesthetic that invites the eye to wander and ponder about those who came before it.
