Rome is one of the oldest cities in the world, and its history is built into its very stones. Salvaged from an old Roman home, this floor has a history long enough to make the patina on this antique limestone Italian floor nearly shimmer.  This is an ivory and cream colored stone floor that is speckled with various darker ivory and gray pavers. The hand-hammered surface texture and chiseled edges are the artisanal marks made by Italian stone masons - smoothed over time, yet visually and texturally still apparent. The edging is divine - allowing for an elegant and historic grout line during installation.  This is the floor that makes one take a step back when entering the room, catching one's breathe - where beauty and history collide in the most elegant and elevated of presence.

May we suggest pairing this antique limestone floor with the perfect color of French oak flooring that will elevate both materials:  The Great House Collection: Kings of France 18th Century French Oak Flooring in Wide Plank Solid and Engineered: THE QUEEN'S HAMLET
