Saint-Cirq-Lapopie is a village in the southwest of France, located on a steep cliff over 300 feet above the Lot River.  This strategic position was originally for defense - but it's overwhelming beauty has allowed it to enter the association of "Les Plus Beaux Villages de la France".  The entire village is nearly a museum - and we were able to procure a spectacular lot of French reclaimed terra cotta tiles that radiate the colors and feel of this immensely special town.  The colors of this lot range from classic terra cotta red to stone, deeper gray, butter and olive.  The surface patina is worn and smooth and the edges are exact but perfectly aged from generations of wear.  This would make a wonderful kitchen floor and entry way with plaster walls and large windows filled with sunshine.

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
