A Catalan Farmhouse 1850 - A Small Production Antiqued Cement Tile Collection is a curated collection with four original designs from Spain 1850.  Authentic designs in an earth tone color palette of Stone, Charcoal, Parchment and Authentic Olde White (original Spanish 1850 white), quietly harmonizes with reclaimed materials, yet brings contrast - to create beautifully historic interiors.

Color Way: Stone + Authentic Olde White (original Spanish 1850 white)

Pattern: The Magician - an original pattern from Catalonia, Spain 1850, this design of seemingly simple forms of triangles, navettes and squares magically shape shift under the eye.  I have counted at least 4-5 different patterns, as I rest a soft gaze onto the tiles.  A handsome floor that speaks to the classic checker pattern with more detail, it contrasts beautifully against expansive stone and wood floors like French oak flooring and French limestone tiles.

Fabrication: Artisanally crafted in Catalonia, Spain using an original Catalonia 1850 pattern: hand-forged metal grid, layered and hand-pressed colored cement, essential drying time.  Final antiquing at Pavé facility in West Hatfield, Massachusetts to achieve antiqued patina.

Surface Texture: Satin patina with artisanal imperfections.  This is a living material that will continue to age and patina with use and wear.  A quality installation will mean this cement tile will last generations.

Recommended Sealer after Installation:  Akemi Stain Repellent Nano Effect 

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina
