This hand-carved antique trough/farmhouse sink from Belgium is spectacular in it's patina and texture. The sides of this trough - interior, exterior and top rim - present with a beautiful geometry of striated lines that is handsome in appearance. This contrasts with the interior, rectangular bowl where water and time have softened the limestone into a smooth patina. These antique trough sinks are appreciated for their craftmanship and are spectacular focal points for powder rooms and baths. Installing faucets on the wall, water flows freely into the stone basin - where brushing one's teeth becomes an experience.
