Salvaged from a home built in the 18th Century - this is a French terra cotta brick where the patina speaks of centuries of use.  Various colors of brick red - some of which are flame-licked either from the initial kiln firing or from the flames of a fireplace - one can imagine the ambiance this creates.  Warm light of a fire enhancing the richness of the brick's hue - this is an antique brick tile lot that brings historic authenticity wherever it may go.  As a floor, installed using the herringbone pattern - what charm it would add to a powder room or small entryway looking out onto the garden.
