Drawn from historic encaustic patterns—including the fleur-de-lys and the natural world—each tile is developed from carefully studied sources and translated through the artist’s hand. Kiln-fired and delicately etched, the surface reveals a soft, crackled patina reminiscent of antique ceramic, with subtle irregularities that preserve the depth and authenticity of early European craftsmanship.
