Antiqued French Oak Flooring — The Great House Collection

The Great House Collection Chevron & Herringbone Collections are offered in all colorways.  There are aged and distressed French oak floors with a feel of an 18th century patina and surface texture.  This patina is due to an artisanal 7-10 step oxidation method.  Working within the tannin of the oak planks, an accelerating aging and coloring process takes place, which achieves the matte patina and translucent colors of an authentic reclaimed French oak floor.  They arrive pre-finished for the patina and color are now apart of the surface texture of the wood floor - there are neither stains nor oils floating on its surface.  These incredibly beautiful and authentic antiqued French oak floors are versatile within a variety of interior designs, excelling in historic farmhouse and old country houses to English manors, carriage houses & brownstones to industrial, mid-century modern, post and beam and Shaker style.
