Reference:  Mantel Pavé 112 is a 19th century French limestone fireplace mantel from the Burgundy region of France.  This unique hand carved limestone mantel is in the style of Louis XIII.  Distinct linear geometric moldings with the top piece a crowning of beautiful angles is softened by the curved forms of the legs, creating a wonderful tension of contrast.  This French limestone's more unified colors of cool, white and gray are austere and minimalist which can be softened with warm woods and antiqued limestone flooring.  Pairing the Pietra Anticata Aged Italian Limestone with this Louis XIII French limestone fireplace allows these complimentary colors to unify splendidly.
