Reference:  Mantel Pavé 111 is a 19th Century French limestone fireplace mantel from Burgundy, France.  The intricate hand carved details feature geometric forms in a beautiful symmetry on the top face of the fireplace mantel.  The finely carved rosettes encased in a square cadre complete the design and add a touch of softness to the masculine presence of the stone carving.  The legs are slightly curved inward, gently flowing to the floor with hand carved cannelures.  The light tonal values and color - whites and greys - work beautifully with blacks or grey.  However, the beauty of our antique Belgian blue stone terra cotta tile matches up wonderfully with this fireplace mantel where the grey colors are in symmetry with the limestone while the added variations of colors of the reclaimed Belgain terra cotta tiles create interest.
