Our latest salvage comes from north-central France called Noyers-Sur-Serein, where this town/village retains much of its medieval appearance - dating back to the 16th century.  The  half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets are glorious and we felt lucky to have found this lot in a weather-beaten down structure where one felt the damp of the stone walls and rotting wood beams.  However!  This structure held a treasure - and not a small one.  One of the largest lots we have ever procured to date - 625 SF of a hand made French reclaimed terra cotta tile hexagon with the colors seeped in historic accuracy.  It was as if the clay tiles took on it's surrounding environment, drenched in hues of medieval moss, terra cotta, ochre and clay.  The worn patina and antique edges make this an exceptional reclaimed French terra cotta tile hexagon floor - perfect for a kitchen/panty and/or dining room.  We will not divide the lot - it's too gorgeous and we have had requests too often for a large square footage.

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
