French reclaimed terra cotta tiles, salvaged from dilapidated structures throughout France, vary in color palette from lot to lot.  This lot, that I call Terre de Sienne is a painter's palette of Earth tones from an enriched clay soil.   From burnt rust and sienna to acorn and sand - these colors are richly saturated with hue and 150-year old patina.  Notice the beauty of the perfectly aged edging, straight but worn - allowing for an elegant, tile grout line. These French reclaimed terra cotta tiles would enrich historically many interiors - from Farmhouse and Shaker to English Georgian and Boho.

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
