The French reclaimed parefeuille terra cotta tile exudes an historic floor with authenticity and rustic elegance.  Salvaged from old farmhouses or mas - old building construction used the parefeuille terra cotta tile as roof tiles in between beams.  Re-purposing these 150 year old French terra cotta tiles floors will add value and historical significance to a home. Color variations are a beautiful, saturated color palette of rose, salmon and ochre hues.  The texture is a worn sablé patina.  Historic farmhouse decor will benefit from using authentic French reclaimed terra cotta tiles and when lime washing or plastering the walls - this interior becomes an authentic integration of old world France.
