Provins, France is an incredible town located in the ile-de-France region in north-central France.  Known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and importance throughout the Middle Ages as an economic center, we enjoyed salvaging this lot for the authenticity of this city.  We also enjoyed beholding a butter cream yellow antique terra cotta - something that is not easily found or abundant.  The surface texture is a wonderfully worn matte patina and it's edges are precise yet worn from the century and a half of use.  An exceptional lot, this reclaimed jaune d'or terra cotta tile hexagon would be perfect in a powder room, sun room or bath.

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
