Dijon is located in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in Northeastern France.  Architecturally, it's known for it's Burgundian polychrome terra cotta roofs tiles of green, yellow, and black.  Also known for the Church of Notre Dame in Dijon, it's a Gothic architectural feat of the13th century and displays a stone relief sculpture of an owl or la chouette - which many over centuries believed it's a good-luck charm.  The salvaged lot of our latest French reclaimed terra cotta tile hexagons was sourced from the Dijon area and hence the name - La Chouette de Dijon.  Nothing wrong with bringing a little historical luck into one's home!  This lot has a patina from over 150-years old and the colors are saturations of terra cotta brown and sand.  It's exceptional in color and texture.

Recommended Sealer after Installation:  Akemi Stone Impregnation for French Reclaimed Terra Cotta Tile Flooring

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
