Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne is located on a bend of the Dordogne River in Southwest France.  A medieval city that was originally dominated by the St Pierre abbey, the architecture is a looking-glass into a time period where sadly, religious wars reigned and perhaps pain was eased - by breathtaking beauty.  A piece of history is in our midst.  We salvaged a large and historic lot of French reclaimed terra cotta tile hexagons where the surface texture and rich hues mirror the colors of soil, grapes, stone and clay of this remarkable region.  This is a rare, large lot - perfect for an authentic French farmhouse kitchen with custom colored cabinets, plaster walls, reclaimed wood beams on the ceiling and a La Cornue stove.

Recommended Sealer after Installation:  Akemi Stone Impregnation for French Reclaimed Terra Cotta Tile Flooring

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
